At AA Metals we understand supporting our customers and all of our business partners during these challenging times is absolutely vital.  Please rest assured that the safety of our employees and yours is our highest priority at this time.  We are taking all necessary measures to ensure the continued safety and well-being of our employees, drivers, and visitors to our facility.

In accordance with the Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), AA Metals is deemed an essential business as a key component of the supply chain for the Critical Manufacturing Sector.  As such, we will continue to operate all locations including those located in jurisdictions currently under local “stay at home orders.”  AA Metals will continually evaluate this position based on all inputs as the situation evolves.  We will always strive to support your business needs and provide the highest level of service and support.  Should the need arise to modify our current position in any location, we will update all impacted parties appropriately.

Dear Valued Customer,

AA Metals is closely monitoring the evolving COVID-19 situation. We are committed to servicing our valued customers while maintaining the health and well-being of our workforce. In early March, we activated our business continuity action planning team to monitor and prepare as conditions evolve.

All business functions are operating normal and our plans aim to ensure this continues.

To date, we have implemented the following protocols:

• All business-related travel postponed until further notice
• Limited visitor access to our facility based on pre-screen questionnaire
• Extra disinfection/cleaning intervals in office and warehouse areas
• Employee training on general WHO & CDC guidelines for personal and workplace hygiene

Imminently, we will be implementing the following additional measures:

• Develop & implement a “flexible work system” to minimize overall exposures
  • Minimize the number of employees in the office
  • Remote working options where appropriate
  • Meetings by video and teleconferences
• Create additional “personal distance” for employees in the workplace
  • Disperse office employees within building
  • Separate 3^rd party transport drivers on premises
  • Maintain 2-meter distance during truck loading
• Document business continuity plans with all suppliers & identify potential disruptions
• Extra “end of day” cleaning procedures for all workspaces, handrails, door handles, chairs, coffee machines, copiers and printers
