Terry Nelson

Terry Nelson serves as the Chief Financial Officer for AA Metals. In this role, Terry ensures the company maintains operational cash flow and provides financial metrics that better inform organizational decisions, expand growth, and drive profitability.

Terry’s finance career spans 35 years across industries such as manufacturing and wholesale distribution. His experience includes oversight of financial activity across countries such as China, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Italy, and Canada.

Terry excels at treasury management, financial analysis, building cross-functional teams, and relationship development. Before joining AA Metals, Terry held senior leadership roles at companies such as Dixon Ticonderoga, Sun & Skin Care Research, Louisville Slugger, and Zeon Chemicals. Terry holds a CPA certification and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois.

Kent Benson

Kent Benson is the Vice President of Sales at AA Metals. In this role, Kent is responsible for providing strategic leadership crucial to achieving sales targets and driving both revenue and market growth.

Kent joined AA Metals in April 2023, after spending 25 years in supply chain management. He brings hands-on experience in sales and operations management. In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, Kent oversaw 900 employees and was responsible for managing over 5 million square feet of 3PL distribution space for the furniture industry. His expertise is in team building, KPI standards, planning and price modeling.

Kent holds a BS in Business Management from Grand Valley State University, and holds several other certificates in sales, operations, safety management.

Joe Burkhart

Joe Burkhart is the Vice President of Information Technology at AA Metals. In this role, Joe provides strategic direction to lead a high-performing IT team and drives technological transformation and innovation to achieve operational excellence and enhanced productivity.

With more than 40 years of experience in technology, engineering, and leadership, Joe brings a deep breadth of knowledge developed across a career spanning multiple industries and generations of technological change. He has held leadership roles at companies including Exploria Resorts, Thales Avionics, and GE Transportation & Healthcare, consistently delivering strategic vision and transformational change that has improved on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Joe’s leadership foundation also includes his service in the United States Navy, where he gained valuable experience in leadership, accountability, teamwork, discipline, and mission-focused execution. Those principles have continued to influence his approach to leading technology organizations and developing high-performing teams throughout his career.

Joe excels in strategic planning, technology management, digital transformation, quality systems development, and cybersecurity, supported by a strong foundation in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Joe holds an MBA from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma. He is a veteran of the United States Navy.

Ruth Gomez

Ruth Gomez is the VP of Business Development for AA Metals. In this role, she is responsible for developing new business opportunities globally, including oversight of customer relations to ensure customer satisfaction. She has a proven ability to leverage business acumen and tactical planning skills to drive change, resolve complex business challenges, and attain superior results.

Ruth joined AA Metals in 2015 and previously held positions in both Operations and Administration within the company. She has over two decades of experience in international trade, business development, operations, and project management.

Ruth has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Universidad Externado De Colombia in Bogota, Colombia and a master’s degree in International Business from both Universidad Externado De Colombia and Columbia University in N.Y.

Daniel Day

Daniel Day is the Director of Supply Chain for AA Metals. He oversees Orlando distribution center supply chain operations and leads the company’s quality and safety programs by maintaining OSHA standards, ISO and CTPAT certifications.

Daniel joined AA Metals in 2012 and has held positions in the Sales, Logistics, Claims, Purchasing, and Compliance departments. His experience has given him unique insight into company operations, assisting in the delivery of quality products to customers. He holds certifications for a wide breadth of programs, including OSHA, ISO, CTPAT, and DOT.

Sara Oleck

Sara Oleck serves as the Director of Human Resources for AA Metals. In this role she helps shape HR strategy, policies, and programs for the company, ensuring compliance, alignment, and effectiveness.

Sara joined AA Metals in 2021, after spending over 20 years in the healthcare field. She is dedicated to fostering a positive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, collaboration, and performance while supporting the company’s mission and vision, as well as the well-being and development of its workforce.

Sara holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College. She is both a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Ni NI, MBA

Ni Ni is the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for AA Metals. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s budgeting, forecasting, planning and strategic analysis.

Ni joined AA Metals in 2013 and has previously held positions in both the Sales Department and Supply Chain Department. Ni always finds swift resolution to organizational challenges through her solid understanding of the metal market products and suppliers..

Ni holds an undergraduate degree with double majors in Accounting and Technology Management, an MBA and a master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Indiana University Bloomington..

Joyce Fernando

Joyce Fernando serves as the Corporate Controller for AA Metals. In this role, she oversees the financial operations of the company’s subsidiaries and works closely with plant leadership to bridge operations and corporate finance, providing financial insights that support informed decision-making and operational performance.

Joyce has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment and manufacturing industries. During her tenure with The Walt Disney Company, she managed international teams spanning 35 countries. Prior to joining AA Metals, Joyce held leadership roles at The Walt Disney Company, ConAgra Foods, Lamb Weston Foods, and NBCUniversal.

Joyce’s expertise includes financial analysis, financial reporting, operational finance, internal controls, and cross-functional leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from DeVry University and an MBA in Forensic Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.

Erica Glover

Erica Glover serves as Corporate Counsel for AA Metals. In this role, Erica protects the organization’s interests, ensures regulatory and legal compliance, and manages the end-to-end contract lifecycle. She serves as a trusted advisor who balances risk mitigation with the company’s strategic commercial objectives.

Erica’s legal and business career spans nearly 30 years across several industries including higher education, financial services, government, real estate and telecommunications. She specializes in commercial contract drafting, regulatory analysis, corporate governance, and complex negotiations. Prior to joining AA Metals, Erica held legal and leadership roles with the Florida Office of Attorney General, the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Merrill Lynch, Smart City Telecommunications, and The Walt Disney Company.

Erica holds a Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law, an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the Florida, North Carolina, and District of Columbia Bars, and she is admitted to practice before the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Tonya Giuliani

Tonya Giuliani is the Director of Sales at AA Metals, where she leads the commercial sales team at the company’s Orlando, Florida, headquarters. In her role, Tonya oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, supports the development and performance of the sales team, and works closely with her team to achieve key sales objectives and business metrics.

Tonya joined AA Metals in 2003 and brings nearly two decades of experience in the metals industry. She began her career in Toronto, Canada, and has developed extensive expertise throughout her career, with a particular specialization in stainless steel. Her diverse industry experience spans sales, international trading and procurement, and production, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the metals supply chain and the markets AA Metals serves.

Tonya holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Arts in English from York University. She combines her strong academic background and extensive industry experience with a commitment to building successful customer relationships, developing high-performing teams, and delivering results in the competitive metals marketplace.

Robert Rogers

Robert Rogers is the Director of Business Development  for AA Metals. In this role, Robert is responsible for the continuous growth and overall sales of the company’s metals division. His holds primary responsibility in leading the sales team in achieving and surpassing sales goals.

Robert joined AA Metals in 2010, with experience in sales, operations, and supply chain management. His experience spans several industries including metals, electronics, retail, distribution, and hospitality, with companies such as Hewlett-Packard, 3M, Avery Dennison, Walt Disney, Universal, and Sony.

Robert has an established track record of obtaining and growing market share aa well as the ability to combine business acumen with leadership skills to build strong relationships with top performers.
